Brought to you by Danny and Tanya Tosolini who are known for their popular Canberra brunch spot Farmers Daughter that has a delicious selection of freshly made sandwiches, cakes, coffee and not to mention the breakfast and lunch menus. Fuel Café plans to be a sharp offering in what is arguably Canberra’s premier office foyer, located in 220 London Circuit.
The couple made the decision to branch out from their successful Yarralumla café based on the personal idea of keeping things interesting and introducing a new challenge by running 2 venues. “Between us we have over 50 years of hospitality experience that have included owning and managing cafes and restaurants in both Canberra and Sydney” says Tanya, with herself and Danny having worked at the likes of Otto, EST, Pier and Buon Ricordo in Sydney along with having owned Tosolinis and Farmers Daughter in Canberra.
The objective with Fuel is to serve the best possible coffee and cold beverages along with food that is quick, healthy and high quality. “We will be offering a range of daily roast meats, salads, pastas, pizza, rolls, burgers, sandwiches and pastries along with a full sit down breakfast and lunch menu”. The cafe will also offer a large range of catering from cocktail parties to small business meetings.
Danny and Tanya believe that Fuel is going with the current hospitality trend which offers flexibility in its menu. Emphasis is on the customer that can order and control what they eat by creating their own dishes with almost all food on display. This allows the customer to have control of quantity, variety and pricing, while also having the ability to eat on the go or sit down and enjoy their meal.
Fuel Café will be opening in 220 London Circuit in the coming months.
